Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) announced an optimization of the stock settlement fee structure for the securities market
Effective from the trading day of June 30, 2025, the minimum and maximum charges for stock settlement fees will be cancelled. Each transaction will be calculated at a new ad valorem rate of 0.8 basis points (0.008%). This is to improve market efficiency and ensure that a consistent fee structure is applied to all transaction sizes.
